Visual Design for ZS

At ZS I created alot of illustrations, videos, icons, and logos for our clients. I partook in various business development ventures in creating the UX team’s go-to-marketing deck where I redesigned 30+ slides as well as training and marketing videos to help the users adopt our products. In addition, I illustrated storyboards for the research team and designed various landing pages to ensure that our clients get excited about our products.

Logos

For a new product that we designed called ODI (open digital innovation), I created different options of email invites and logos to get the reps excited about our innovation workshops.

Icon & PowerPoint Design for ZS User Experience

At ZS, I was in charge of redesigning the UX team’s go-to messaging deck. I designed the UX team’s icons using figma and individually designed out all the slides.

Personal Projects

San Francisco Media Art Festival Design & Illustration

I illustrated and designed this set of posters for the San Francisco Media Arts Festival, which is an event where the city screens movies/TV shows outdoors for everyone to watch.

Carnegie Mellon University School of Architecture Poster Design

This is a poster I designed for Carnegie Mellon University, School of Architecture’s Lecture Series using Yvonne Farrell’s building as the backdrop for the poster.

Coding & Web Design

I designed and coded this website to celebrate the lives of koalas. This concept was sparked by the 2019 tragedy in the Australian wildfires that endangered the already diminishing population koala. I wanted to educate people about one of my favorite animals - the koala.

I coded this website using HTML/CSS, JavaScript, wow.min.js (Library), & material.min.js (Library). I designed this on Adobe XD and got the pictures from Unsplash. I animated the logo on Photoshop.

Motion Design

I have extensive experience in video editing, drawing, animation, and whiteboard videos as I studied Time Based Media Art in college. I have also worked professionally with bands to create music videos and album covers. At ZS, I created the graphics and produced many videos to get people excited about the company, and to teach people how to use our products.

Physical Computing and design

Drawing Translation Machine (left) and Shadowbox (right). In my free time, I like to push my designs and think about how to bring them into the physical world.

For the Drawing Translation Machine I used the laser cutter to make the wooden structure. For the electronics, I used an accelerometer to track movement, and the Arduino.

For the Shadowbox, I used an exacto knife to cut out ~14 sheets of the design of Venice and stacked them with foam board to make the box. I used Arduino and LED lights.
